I have watched Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus and made a comic using ComicLife in class. Teenage Dirtbag is about an American high school boy who doesn’t fit in. It is based off Wheatus’ childhood. When he was 11 a boy in his town was killed by 2 boys in Metallica and ACDC tops. Unfortunately, Wheatus was a big fan of Metallica and ACDC and did not fit in because he would wear their T-shirts.

The story shows your average American high school. The girl ‘Noel’ was the main characters dream girl but did not like him and instead liked the high school jock. 

Cold War

From the Observer, I have learnt that in the mid-1960’s everyone was worried about the Cold War. The Cold War was a period of geopolitical tension between the United States and the Soviet Union and their respective allies, the Western Bloc and the Eastern Bloc, which began following World War II. People were scared because of the threat of a nuclear war, invasion and a clash of international superpowers.
