02 MUSIC VIDEOS


I have watched Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus and made a comic using ComicLife in class. Teenage Dirtbag is about an American high school boy who doesn’t fit in. It is based off Wheatus’ childhood. When he was 11 a boy in his town was killed by 2 boys in Metallica and ACDC tops. Unfortunately, Wheatus was a big fan of Metallica and ACDC and did not fit in because he would wear their T-shirts.

The story shows your average American high school. The girl ‘Noel’ was the main characters dream girl but did not like him and instead liked the high school jock.

    You have understood that the protagonist in the narrative is based on the stereotype of an outsider who desperately wants to belong, conform and be accepted; other stereotypes include the football jock and the popular girl.
